Hello everyone
thank you for your patience with the updates.
I did return to Haiti back in March and I thank you all for all you did to fill the truck! As well as helping me get there.

While I was in country I was able to spend time with the children at the orphanage and gather the information needed for the website. Which I am happy to say is up and running and ready for sponsors! Lets get all these children cared for!

However while I was there we were unable to get our truck and container out of customs. Which was hard to not have control over, but the Lord taught us it’s his timing not ours. Which gave me more time to just play and love those children.

As of now there was a team that was sent out in april and as far as I know everything is running smoothly and we finally got our stuff out and is being distributed.

Please please spread the word about this orphanage these children really need our help!

here’s the link check it out!

houseofhopeorphanage.org

thank you all again for your prayers and support!

Serving Christ,
Alisha

Recently, there has been a lot written and spoken about regarding the tragedy that has taken place in Haiti. In the past few months (prior to and after) I have met a wonderful woman name Alisha, who was visiting Haiti and left the Sunday before the earthquake hit. She has told me of her experience there and a small orphanage that she is in the process of making a legitimate orphanage (House of Hope) that within the next year will have a child sponsor program running. These children were suffering before the earthquake, I cannot imagine how much harder it is now. All of them were taken in by 1 woman after a disease wiped out these children’s families. Right now, there are 42 children and just $4.50 will feed all of them for one day! I am posting about this because it is close to my heart. The suffering of children is the worst kind and they need all kinds of supplies. I am asking for donations (items needed are listed below). You can bring them to Bella Rosa Photography (please call or email for the address) or I can put you directly in contact with Alisha Michaelson. When Alisha returns to Haiti in March, she will be bringing the supplies with her and speaking with a pastor in Port Au Prince who’s sister runs 3 orphanages. She will be getting in contact with these orphanages and working on a sponsorship program for these facilities as well. All items donated will go directly to these orphanages, specifically, House of Hope.

If you want to make a cash or check donation, those can be made out to and sent to Crossroads Community Church 2804 Avenue Stanford, Valencia, CA 91355. Please write H-11 in the memo or to Caribbean Vision Ministries, PO Box 18317, Panama City Beach, Fl. 32417. Write Haiti Relief in the memo.

100% of everything donated, cash or items will go directly to Haiti and are tax deductible. Alisha also has a facebook page (click here) and a public facebook page “Fill a Truck for Haiti” (click here). In asking to connect with her, please reference Haiti. Below is a small photo of her with 2 of the children from House of Hope (not taken by me, by her husband Sven Michaelson).

Items in need of: Caribbean Vision Ministries & Eglise Evangelique de la Paix in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida are teaming together to send a 24 foot truck full of supplies to Haiti. The truck will be shipped to Cap Haitien and then driven to Port Au Prince to deliver much needed relief supplies to those in the Delmas area of the city.
